In 2008: NPT needs to mobilize about VND 1,622 billion to invest in power network

After balancing the overseas loan of VND 2,401 billion, the favourable credit loan of VND 183 billion, commercial loan of VND 918 billion, in 2008, the National Power Transmission Company (NPT) will need to mobilize an addition of VND 3,892 billion from other sources. With the current capital of NPT of just VND 2,270 billion, the amount that will need mobilizing in this year is around VND 1,622 billion.

Construct regulations for power transmission network applied in competitive power market

This is the theme of the workshop held by Vietnam Electricity Regulatory Authority (The Ministry of Industry and Trade) in the morning of August 22 in Hanoi. In the workshop, international consultants introduced the achievements of project on technical support to construct power transmission network and the basic content of the draft regulations on power transmission network.

Construct Tra Vinh – Tien Giang 500 kV line

The People Committee of Tra Vinh province and Electricity Consulting Joint Stock Company 2 (The Electricity of Vietnam - EVN) have reached an agreement on the technical design of the 500 kV line from Duyen Hai Coal-fired Thermal Power Plant (Tra Vinh) to My Tho transformer substation (Tien Giang) to join the national power network.
